As her masterpiece, The Awakening establishes Chopin’s position as a pioneer feminist writer. The Awakening primarily narrates the story of Edna’s vacation on Grand Isle with her husband, Léonce, and their two children. Through interactions with a typical woman, Adèle, and a young man, Robert, Edna begins to seek her self and pursue spiritual independence, but ultimately fails. It reflects the universality of women’s spiritual dilemma and the significance of self-awareness and self-construction. This paper employs Jung’s Archetype Theory to analyze the psychological growth path of the protagonist, Edna. By examining her quests for her self, the paper investigates the psychological reasons behind her tragic fate through the primary archetypes: the persona, the shadow, the anima and animus, and the self. Trapped by the persona of “the angel of the house,” Edna’s inner shadow expands, but she fails to balance her persona and shadow. Besides, Edna’s animus gradually inflates and finally out of control, leading to her lost of self. Through analysis, this paper posits that Edna’s failure in self-growth stems from her inability to manage the relationships within her personality system. Unable to combat the shadow and the burgeoning animus, Edna loses her self, succumbs mentally and commits suicide. Consequently, this paper offers insights for contemporary individuals to recognize themselves and provides guidance for shaping a balanced personality and pursuing mental well-being.
梦雨 王 Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/891 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education in Comprehensive English Courses Under the Background of New Liberal Arts https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/912
Against the backdrop of the “New Liberal Arts” initiative, which emphasizes interdisciplinary integration, value orientation, and social responsiveness, higher foreign language education is required to transcend the traditional focus on linguistic skills and integrate ideological and political guidance into teaching practice. This study explores the implementation path and effectiveness of Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education (CIPE) in Comprehensive English courses, a core course for non-English majors in Chinese universities. Adopting an action research approach, the study was conducted with 86 first-year non-English major students (divided into an experimental group and a control group) from a university in eastern China over a 16-week semester. Research tools included teaching design schemes (with CIPE elements integrated for the experimental group), pre/post-language proficiency tests, pre/post-ideological cognition questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews with students and teachers. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, while qualitative data were coded via Nvivo 12.0. Results showed that: 1) The experimental group outperformed the control group in both language proficiency (e.g., reading comprehension, writing coherence) and ideological literacy (e.g., cultural confidence, social responsibility); 2) Students in the experimental group demonstrated higher recognition of the integration of CIPE into English teaching, reporting enhanced interest in cross-cultural communication and a deeper understanding of Chinese values; 3) Teachers involved in the study reported improved ability to identify and integrate ideological elements into textbook content. The findings confirm that integrating CIPE into Comprehensive English courses under the New Liberal Arts framework can achieve the "dual goals" of linguistic competence cultivation and value guidance, providing empirical support for the reform of foreign language education in the New Liberal Arts era.
Shaofang Cui Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/912 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Reconstruction and Optimization of University Employment Guidance Course Model under Emerging Industries: A Collaborative Education Framework https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/878
The rapid evolution of emerging industries, characterized by digital transformation and new business paradigms, has created a pressing need to reform university employment guidance courses to better align with dynamic labor market demands. Traditional models often lack adaptability and fail to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge, resulting in a mismatch between graduate competencies and employer expectations. This study proposes and validates a collaborative education framework to reconstruct and optimize the employment guidance course model, emphasizing synergy between universities, enterprises, and policymakers. Through a multi-site controlled experiment involving 1,872 final-year undergraduates across three Chinese universities, we implemented a framework incorporating top-level policy design, school-enterprise cooperation, curriculum content optimization infused with emerging industry knowledge, diversified teaching methods (project-based learning, case analysis, hybrid online-offline approaches), and a multi-evaluation system combining traditional assessments with innovation metrics. Results demonstrate that experimental group students achieved a 28.7% increase in employability index compared to 9.3% in control groups (p<0.001), with particularly strong gains in adaptive competencies: cross-domain synthesis (=1.83vs.0.61), iterative prototyping (=2.15 vs.0.72), and stakeholder negotiation (=1.94 vs.0.55). Enterprise satisfaction ratings for experimental group interns were 2.4 times higher (7.9/10 vs. 3.3/10). The framework offers a scalable blueprint for higher education institutions seeking to modernize career guidance programs in an era of rapid technological and economic change.
Teng Yu Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/878 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Evaluating the Sustainable Development of Revolutionary Heritage Tourism: An Empirical Analysis of Cultural-Tourism Integration in Guangdong, China https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/903
Grounded in sustainable development theory, this study establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system to evaluate the development level of cultural-tourism integration. Employing a hybrid approach that integrates the Entropy Weight Method, TOPSIS, and a Coupling Coordination Degree Model, we conducted an empirical analysis using multi-source data from nine prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province, China. The results reveal significant regional disparities in the development level of cultural tourism. Furthermore, we identify an inverse relationship between economic efficiency and ecological carrying capacity in most of the sampled cities. A widespread imbalance is also observed, characterized by a high degree of coupling yet a low degree of coordination among the economic, social, environmental, and cultural subsystems. The findings offered theoretical insights and practical implications for promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of cultural tourism.
siki lin Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/903 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Study on Exploring the Innovation of English Writing Teaching Mode in Inner Mongolia Universities Guided by Cultural Identity https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/888
This study aims to explore an innovative English writing teaching model guided by cultural identity for universities in Inner Mongolia, addressing the issue of students’ “cultural aphasia” and enhancing their ability to express local culture effectively in English. Adopting a theoretical and practical approach, the research integrates the rich ethnic cultural resources of Inner Mongolia—such as grassland ecology, nomadic traditions, and literary arts—into the English writing curriculum. Key methods include restructuring teaching content, designing localized writing themes, incorporating cultural comparison and critical thinking, reforming evaluation mechanisms, and enhancing teachers’ cross-cultural literacy. The proposed model fosters students’ cultural subjectivity, improves their comprehensive language application skills, and strengthens their cultural confidence and cross-cultural communication abilities. The study concludes that this culturally responsive teaching model not only supports foreign language education reform in ethnic regions but also cultivates students’ patriotism and their capacity to disseminate Chinese and Inner Mongolian cultures globally.
Yan Wang Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/888 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Task Decomposition Training and Freestyle Stroke Efficiency Among Swimming Athletes in an Institute of Technology in Sichuan, China https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/910
This study examines the relationship between task decomposition training (TDT) and freestyle stroke efficiency among competitive swimmers at a technological institute in Sichuan, China. TDT, which breaks complex strokes into manageable components, has emerged as a critical methodology for enhancing technical precision and performance in aquatic sports. The research employed a descriptive-comparative-correlational design, surveying athletes on their TDT experiences and self-assessed stroke efficiency across multiple dimensions including body alignment, arm mechanics, kick efficiency, and breathing technique. Findings indicate that TDT significantly improves swimmers' technical understanding and execution, with notable enhancements in stroke timing, coordination, and hydrodynamics. However, areas such as body position alignment and energy efficiency showed room for improvement. The study reveals a strong positive correlation between structured TDT implementation and overall stroke efficiency, particularly among experienced athletes. These results underscore the value of systematic skill decomposition in swimming pedagogy and provide a foundation for developing targeted training protocols that can optimize athletic performance for competitive swimmers across different experience levels.
Binxin Wang Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/910 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Research on the Enhancement Mechanism of Business English Teachers' Digital Literacy from the Perspective of Self-Determination Theory https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/875
Against the backdrop of educational digital transformation, the Business English discipline must trigger its teaching digital transformation to meet the talent development demands of industrial transformation and globalization achieve the goal of cultivating applied talents. The critical concern has always focused on the nostalgia reflected in the social transformation, paying little attention to the formation of industrial social memory. This paper, borrowing Jan Assmann’s illustration of material, spatial and conceptual memories, will try to analyze the construction of industrial social memory in the story. It argues that the story records how industrialization causes significant changes in the life of the small town and the citizens by penetration of mechanical memory, homogenization of spatial memory and embodiment of conceptual memory. It holds that the story reflects in the gradual fading of agricultural material memory, a new mechanical production method replaces the traditional labor-intensive method and transforms traditional labor patterns and rural life into industrial style in which a new social memory, the mechanical memory, is formed. In representing that the rapid industrialization in the small town of Bidwell compels spatial changes with extensive construction of factories, buildings, and railways, Anderson exposes natural and cultural spaces are remodeled and altered along with the country’s industrial development, which constitutes the townspeople’s spatial memory in industrialization. Meanwhile, their self-identity and values are greatly affected by the completion of industrialization. Their consumption concepts and lifestyles have undergone tremendous changes, and their desires for money and profit become increasingly strong. All these result from the materialistic and mechanical ideology that serves as the origin and embodiment of their conceptual memory in industrialization. Anderson’s story manifests that social memory is a dynamic entity undergoing repeated revisions by newly acquired knowledge or expanded cognitive abilities. In this course, it is not the past itself, but the way people modernize the past in relation to the present and to the desired future that matters. Therefore, Anderson finally conveys the idea that real values will survive in the construction of industrial social memory, although he gives a nostalgic glimpse of the social upheaval with struggles between the old and the new versions of social memory.
Qizhi Shu Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/872 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The Analysis of Identity Construction in Little Fires Everywhere under the perspective of Diverse Masculinity https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/895
This paper employs Cornell's theory of masculinity to analyze the identity construction of four male characters in Celeste Ng's novel Little Fires Everywhere and explore the complex interweaving of diverse masculinities within class, gender, and racial structures. Specifically, it assessed leadership across four dimensions—instructional, transformational, distributed, and socio-political—and explored how these influenced various aspects of professional development, including continuous learning, collaborative practices, technology integration, and contextual responsiveness. Utilizing a descriptive-correlational research design, data were gathered from 200 primary education teachers through structured survey instruments. Results indicated that instructional leadership was the most prominently practiced, while transformational and distributed leadership showed moderate implementation. Teacher professional development was rated positively overall, with contextual influences and technology integration emerging as the strongest areas, though continuous learning showed relative weaknesses. Statistical analyses revealed no significant differences in assessments based on sex or age, but notable variations were observed by teaching experience, particularly in perceptions of instructional leadership and collaborative practices. Importantly, correlation analysis revealed significant positive relationships between leadership practices and teacher professional development, especially in the domains of instructional and socio-political leadership with technology integration and continuous learning. These findings underscore the critical role of adaptive and inclusive leadership in shaping effective professional development environments. Two participating teachers—one leading a kindergarten group of four students and another guiding a mixed-level group of four—were observed over five complete lessons each. Data were collected through structured lesson observations, post-lesson semi-structured interviews, and supplementary materials including photographs, annotated scores, and rehearsal notes. Thematic analysis revealed distinct pedagogical priorities: one teacher emphasized cooperative ensemble playing, structured repetition, and confidence-building in young beginners, while the other focused on technical precision, interpretive detail, and independent preparation among mixed-level learners. Across both cases, challenges were noted in balancing individual and group needs, sustaining attention, and ensuring consistent home practice. Comparative analysis highlighted differences in instructional pacing, feedback styles, and the integration of creative elements such as storytelling and visual aids. However, its implementation with foreign language programs, particularly those focusing on Japanese majors, faces challenges due to perceived tensions between political-ideological goals and the development of language proficiency and intercultural understanding. This qualitative case study addresses this gap by proposing a novel framework for seamlessly blending CIP with advanced language instruction, using the teaching of Japanese literature as a paradigmatic example. Moving beyond notions of overt indoctrination, the study argues for an approach grounded in the principles of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and Critical Pedagogy. Through detailed textual analysis and reflective practice, the research demonstrates how literary texts can serve as a medium for exploring organic values, fostering critical thinking, and cross-cultural dialogue. It identifies and elucidates three core integration strategies: implicit thematic engagement, comparative cultural analysis, and critical discussion facilitation. The findings suggest that effective CIP integration is an advanced pedagogical art that enriches rather than diminishes the language learning experience. The concept of "two-way bridging" aims to break the limitations of the traditional one-sided approach and promote collaborative education between kindergartens and primary schools. From the perspective of synergy theory, and through questionnaires and in-depth interviews, this paper systematically analyzes the main dilemmas faced by the current two-way bridging process across four subsystems: curriculum, teachers, parents, and policy. The study finds that issues such as a disjointed curriculum system, lack of teacher collaboration mechanisms, prominent parental educational anxiety, and weak policy implementation seriously hinder the effective execution of two-way bridging. Based on this, the paper constructs a "four-in-one" collaborative path from the dimensions of curriculum co-development, teacher collaboration, parental guidance, and policy optimization to promote scientific kindergarten-primary school transition and provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for achieving a smooth transition for children.
Hasitana, Yanli Li Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/880 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Coaches' Feedback Quality and Skill Development of Badminton Athletes in an Institute of Technology in Jiangxi Province, China https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/904
This study investigates the relationship between coaches’ feedback quality and the skill development of badminton athletes at the Nanchang Institute of Technology in Jiangxi Province, China. However, their English translations often suffer from inaccuracy and do not conform to English expression habits. Guided by the Skopos Theory and adhering to the principles of "fidelity" and "eliminating cultural differences", this study proposes four specific translation methods for Network Catchwords: literal translation, literal translation with annotations, free translation, and transliteration. Aerobic exercise is widely recognized for its benefits on cardiovascular health and body composition, yet the optimal volume for this demographic remains underexplored. Utilizing a descriptive-comparative-correlational design, this research surveyed participants on their exercise habits—assessing frequency, intensity, and duration—and measured changes in key metrics like body fat percentage, muscle mass, and waist-to-hip ratio. Findings indicate a significant positive correlation between higher exercise volume and favorable improvements in body composition. Notably, participants engaging in consistent, long-term aerobic exercise demonstrated the most pronounced benefits. The study also reveals that while intentions for regular exercise are high, actual adherence varies, highlighting a gap between knowledge and practice. These results underscore the importance of structured, volume-focused aerobic programs tailored to this age group to maximize body composition outcomes. The research provides a foundation for developing personalized exercise prescriptions that can effectively address metabolic health and physical fitness in young adults.
Ping Lin Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/911 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Corpus-Assisted Investigation into Joe Biden’s Nuclear Policy Discourse https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/876
This paper takes Biden’s nuclear-related speeches at U.S. Congressional hearings during his tenure as a senator as the corpus, and uses corpus tools such as AntConc and LancsBox to analyze the subject words. With the mutual information value as a reference, it obtains the high-frequency collocations of words, identifies the main topics of concern in Biden's speeches, and analyzes the characteristics of Biden's speeches. It is found that Biden pays more attention to five aspects: major nuclear-related countries, nuclear weapons development, nuclear arms control treaties, international organizations, especially the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and diplomatic relations. This study also finds that Biden’s speeches exhibited three distinct characteristics: a strong emphasis on the development of nuclear weapons capabilities, significant attention to nuclear arms control, and close focus on "Countries of Concern". Biden’s rhetoric reflected a dual strategy of deterrence and containment. While reaffirming the United States' commitment to bolstering its nuclear deterrence capabilities, his statements simultaneously revealed efforts to undermine the nuclear arsenals of other nations and curb their nuclear development. Conducted at Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College in Inner Mongolia, China, the research employed a descriptive-comparative-correlational design. Eighty-four aerobics trainers were surveyed on their demographic profiles, self-assessed use of RTFT (including frequency of use, technical skill, data interpretation, and real-time adjustments), and their assessment of client improvements (in cardiovascular endurance, recovery time, test scores, and performance consistency). Results indicated a significant positive correlation between trainers' self-assessed proficiency with RTFT and their reported client performance gains. While trainers were generally confident, areas for improvement were identified in consistent technology application and advanced data interpretation. The findings underscore the value of RTFT in enhancing training efficacy and highlight the need for targeted professional development to maximize its potential.
Bei Guan Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/901 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Research on the Handling Strategies of Fuzzy Information in Diplomatic Alternating Translation https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/887
This study aims to solve the problem that fuzzy information in diplomatic consecutive interpreting may lead to inaccurate information transmission and even diplomatic disputes. First, it sorts out core concepts of consecutive interpreting, fuzzy information theory, and relevance theory to lay a theoretical foundation. Then, it systematically analyzes specific manifestations and causes of three common types of fuzzy information in diplomatic consecutive interpreting: semantic ambiguity, pragmatic ambiguity, and cultural ambiguity. Building on this typology, the study integrates the optimal relevance principle of relevance theory, the study explores practical strategies for handling these fuzzy information types, including translation techniques like addition and omission, and auxiliary tools such as note-taking, pauses, and speech rate control. Key findings show that taking optimal relevance as the core and flexibly combining translation strategies with auxiliary tools can effectively improve the accuracy of fuzzy information interpretation. The study provides theoretical guidance and practical references for interpreters to enhance their skills, and points out that future research can use empirical methods to compare interpreters of different proficiency levels in handling fuzzy information.
Huinian Bai Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/887 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The Development of Personal Brand in Promoting Business Resiliency in a Selected Sporting Goods Retail Company in Yunnan Province, China https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/909
This study examines the relationship between personal brand development and business resiliency in a sporting goods retail company in Yunnan Province, China. Using a descriptive-correlational design, we analyzed five dimensions of personal branding (social media engagement, content creation, professional expertise, emotional components, and trust) and six aspects of business resiliency (risk management, supply chain resilience, technological integration, soft controls, social capital, and entrepreneurial characteristics). Results showed moderate integration of personal branding among employees, with social media engagement (WM=3.03) and emotional components scoring highest, while trust (WM=2.87) and professional expertise showed room for improvement. Business resiliency was similarly moderate (Overall WM=2.89), with entrepreneurial characteristics (WM=3.18) and social capital (WM=3.01) as strengths, while risk management (WM=2.63) needed attention. A significant positive correlation (r=0.318, p<0.001) was found between personal branding and business resiliency, highlighting their interdependence. Gender and position influenced perceptions, with females rating technological integration higher and senior employees showing stronger entrepreneurial alignment. The findings suggest that targeted personal branding training, enhanced risk management strategies, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture could strengthen organizational resilience. These insights provide practical guidance for retail companies seeking to leverage employee branding for competitive advantage.
Bo Xu Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/909 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Haunting Authorship: The Colonial Entanglement of Space and Body in Cheers, Soldier! https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/873
Through examining Huang Chunming’s transtextual project Cheers, Soldier!(Zhanshi Ganbei 戰士,乾杯!), this paper explores how settler authorship becomes structurally unsettled. Across its short story and stage script forms, the narrative centers on the multigenerational conscription of Indigenous men into successive colonial armies. Rather than presenting this history as resolved or representable, the texts reveal a deeper tension: the author’s own position becomes entangled in the return of what cannot be narrated from the outside.

While the short story filters Indigenous experience through a reflective first-person voice, the stage script disperses that perspective, incorporating fragmented speech, embodied presence, and performative memory. As narrative control gives way to shared perception, authorship itself shifts from an interpretive authority to a residual structure shaped by absence, vulnerability, and repetition.

Through close textual analysis, the paper argues that this transtextual movement is not a linear adaptation, but a redistribution of narrative responsibility. Cheers, Soldier! does not aim to repair historical violence through fiction. Instead, it lingers in the uncertainty of what it means to write from a settler position. The result is not narrative empathy, but narrative haunting: an authorial presence that remains within the frame, no longer centered, but no longer able to withdraw.
Hu Xin Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/873 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Evolving Paradigms: The Translation of Zhuang Medical Terminology through the Lens of Cultural Translation https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/896
This study systematically investigates the English translation of terminology, texts, and cultural concepts in Guangxi Zhuang medicine, revealing critical issues in current practices such as terminological inconsistency, mistranslation of culture-specific terms, overreliance on transliteration, and inappropriate adoption of Western medical terminology. Transparency in communication involves openly sharing accurate and timely information, fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration. In schools, where teamwork and mutual understanding are crucial, the role of transparent communication cannot be overstated. Recent research has highlighted its profound impact on the development of trust in educational institutions (Rajapaksha & Dissanayake, 2021; Praphatsorn & Wannapiroon, 2023).

Transparency in communication can reduce ambiguity and ensure that teachers understand decisions that affect their work, thereby building trust. Transparent communication within school management enables teachers to align their professional goals with those of the institution. This alignment, in turn, fosters a sense of shared responsibility and ownership, strengthening trust in leadership. These practices include regular staff meetings, open lines of communication, and clearly communicated policies. Perceptions of decision fairness are also closely linked to transparency in communication. When school leaders openly share the rationale behind decisions, teachers perceive a greater sense of fairness and inclusion. A study by Ahmad and Farooq i (2021) found that teachers’ trust and morale levels increased significantly in schools that implemented transparent decision-making processes. This trust fostered a supportive environment conducive to collaboration and innovation in teaching practices.
Xueyuan Zuo Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/885 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Teachers' Familiarity with Machine Learning Concepts and Their Acceptance of Predictive Learning Technologies in a Technical College in Sichuan Province, China https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/907
This study investigates the relationship between teachers' familiarity with machine learning (ML) concepts and their acceptance of predictive learning technologies (PLTs) at Sichuan Automotive Vocational and Technical College in China. However, without mastering the relevant cultural context, their writing cannot achieve optimal effectiveness. This paper examines the challenges Chinese college students face in English writing and argues that insufficient background knowledge of the target language’s culture hampers their performance. Current writing often reflects mother-tongue thinking, leading to “Chinese-style English” and structural mismatches between Chinese and English discourse. The study highlights the importance of cultural awareness as an integral component of comprehensive language competence and reviews how domestic English textbooks increasingly embed cultural information. To enhance students’ writing, the paper proposes several strategies. By enriching input and fostering a British style linear discourse mode, learners can develop clearer focus, better coherence, and more authentic expression in English compositions. The findings suggest that systematic enrichment of cultural background knowledge is essential for improving Chinese students’ English writing proficiency.
YAJIE SUN Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/894 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Teachers’ Inclusive Education Practices and Their Attitudes Toward Social Justice in the Classroom https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/883
This study examines the relationship between teachers’ self-assessed inclusive education practices and their attitudes toward social justice in the classroom. Conducted at Sanhe Yanjiao Enoch Experimental School in China, the research employed a descriptive-comparative-correlational design with 81 teacher respondents. Data were collected through a validated researcher-made questionnaire assessing demographic profiles, inclusive education practices , and social justice attitudes . Results indicated that teachers generally demonstrated positive self-assessments of both inclusive education practices and social justice attitudes, with strong agreement on principles of equity and diversity. However, areas for improvement were identified, including sustained professional development in understanding diverse learner needs and implementing culturally responsive strategies. Statistical analysis revealed no significant differences in self-assessed inclusive education practices or social justice attitudes based on demographic variables such as sex, educational attainment, length of service, or seminar attendance. A significant positive correlation was found between teachers’ inclusive education practices and their social justice attitudes, particularly in valuing diversity, fostering student engagement, and promoting equity. The findings underscore the importance of integrating social justice frameworks with inclusive education training to enhance teachers’ capacity to create equitable and inclusive learning environments. Recommendations include targeted professional development programs, reflective practices, and institutional support to strengthen teachers’ ability to address diverse learner needs through a social justice lens.
Jin Shao Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/883 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Exploring the Primary Models and Their Efficacy of Health Education in Universities in the Zhanjiang Area During the Post-COVID-19 Era https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/905
Objective Exploring the main models and educational effects of health education in undergraduate institutions in the post pandemic era in Zhanjiang region. Methods Randomly select second year students from two universities in Zhanjiang area to conduct a survey on health education models, and collect 2000 valid questionnaires; Randomly select 600 research subjects, divide them into three groups, and carry out training on three health education modes. Statistical analysis will be conducted on the awareness of infectious diseases (taking syphilis as an example) before and after the training. Results The three most popular models are "WeChat official account push", "set up stalls to distribute publicity materials" and "popular science lectures on infectious disease prevention and control". There was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in the number of syphilis awareness among colleges and gender groups. Prior to training, statistical knowledge was obtained, and there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05), indicating that the three groups had the same level of knowledge; There were statistically significant differences (P<0.05) between the pre - and post training groups, indicating that all three educational models were effective. After training, there was a statistically significant difference between the groups (P<0.05), indicating that the three educational models had inconsistent effects; Compared with the other two groups, the "WeChat official account push" group had a statistically significant difference (P<0.05), indicating that the "WeChat official account push" model had the best effect; Compared with the other two groups, there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05), indicating that the educational effects of the two modes were comparable. Conclusion In the post epidemic era in Zhanjiang, the most popular health education models include WeChat official account push, setting up booths to distribute publicity materials and popular science lectures on infectious disease prevention and control; The educational effect of WeChat official account push is the best, which is worth promoting vigorously; At the same time, we should also leverage the other two models to continuously carry out health education for college students and improve their level of infectious disease prevention and control.
junchu he, zhuofei jiang; Yanyan Yang, Jiacheng yuan; Barrenechea Daniel Wong Copyright (c) 2025 Pacific International Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://rclss.com/pij/article/view/905 Mon, 20 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0000
