Since the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) in December 2019, the epidemic has also had an adverse impact on the mental health of the public due to fear of the epidemic, common diseases, treatment delays and other factors. Patients with chronic skin diseases often have problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, anger and social isolation, which in turn will induce or aggravate primary skin diseases and form a vicious circle. Psoriasis is one of the common skin diseases. When the skin barrier function of patients with psoriasis is damaged, improper protection will increase the susceptibility to virus and induce or aggravate the disease. During the COVID-19 epidemic, some psoriasis patients who were isolated at home suffered from illness due to lack of disease awareness, poor self-management and lack. Patients who go out for medical treatment will increase the risk of COVID-19 infection. The lack of standardized self-management of psoriasis patients is one of the important reasons for the recurrence of their diseases. Standardized self-management is an important guarantee to improve the health status of patients and improve their quality of life. This article expounds the current situation and contents of standardized self-management of psoriasis patients, hoping to arouse medical workers' Thinking on how to implement standardized self-management of psoriasis patients under the epidemic situation of novel coronavirus pneumonia. At the same time, patients should strengthen self-management and do a good job in going out to prevent and minimize the adverse effects of the epidemic situation.
