The implementation of the Three Gorges Project has enabled millions of residents in the reservoir area to be resettled. After years of policy implementation, significant results have been achieved, and immigrants have generally integrated into the new settlement environment. Immigrant integration has become a microcosm of China's social structural transformation. With the rapid development of the socio economy and the acceleration of urbanization, China is facing a transition from a traditional rural society to a modern urban society. Therefore, the following suggestions are proposed: establish and improve a policy system that is compatible with the transformation of social structure; Improve the social security system and enhance the level of social security; Implement regional coordinated development strategy; Promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries; Implement more proactive employment policies; Improve the level of public services.
