This study conducts a comprehensive and in-depth investigation into the challenges and corresponding facilitative pathways for promoting emerging intelligent technologies in the interior design industry. From a technological perspective, key obstacles include high research and application costs, as well as hardware-software compatibility issues. Disparities in software architectures and data formats among developers hinder seamless integration of emerging technologies with existing devices or platforms. Furthermore, security and privacy concerns surrounding new intelligent technologies significantly impede their adoption, as consumers exhibit cautious attitudes due to perceived risks, thereby exacerbating implementation difficulties. To address these challenges, this paper proposes targeted strategies aimed at advancing the sustainable integration of emerging intelligent technologies within the interior design sector, fostering innovation and industry-wide progress.
